Additional Milwaukee 6519-22 Sawzall 11 Amp Reciprocating Saw Information

Built to perform, the 11 amp Milwaukee Sawzall® Plus Reciprocating Saw delivers more power than previous Sawzall® Plus models rated at 8.5 amps. This Sawzall® features both the quik-lok blade clamp set for fast, easy blade and cord replacements. A full 1-1/8 in. blade stroke and variable speed up to 2800 strokes per minute provide efficient cutting of any sawable material. A heavy-duty steel wobble plate mechanism and ball and roller bearings provide the durability that you have come to expect from MILWAUKEE Sawzalls. A gear protecting clutch extends the life and guards against damage to the mechanism due to sudden jars from pinched blades. An externally accessible brush cap and a keyless adjustable pivot shoe provide the convenience that you have come to expect from MILWAUKEE. All wrapped up in an impact resistant carrying case that will not rust. The 6519-22 includes the tool, two pack of Super Sawzall® Blades and carrying case.

What Customers Say About Milwaukee 6519-22 Sawzall 11 Amp Reciprocating Saw:

It is tough for me to say, since I have found anything that would require more than my 11amp model - however, if you cutting through steel plate you probably want to think about the more powerful model.Things that I have personally used this Sawzal to cut throughPVCSteel posts (The type that you use to anchor the trees in your yard)MasonryTreel limbsPlywoodOak dowel rodsFinal opinion - A good Sawzal is one item that when you need it you can not do with out it and the Milwaukee 6519-22 is the one for me. Another nice feature is the extra long cord (abiut 6 ft).- Cost of blades - not cheap, you can expect to pay $10-$20 for a pack of blades.

It has the power to cut the heads off of bolts, it has cut through steel posts, and through brick (each required a separate blade of course). Each of these jobs would have been much more difficult if not impossible without a good sawzall - and trust me - this is a good one.Things I appreciate -- High quality - I have never had even the slightest problem with quality.

My Milwaukee 6519-22 Sawzall is one of the valuable tools in my shop. You can change blades in less than 10 seconds without the need of any tool.

The unit feels solid with solid construction materials.- Ease of use - A solid "+" for the Milwaukee 6519-22. The "twist-and-install" blade system is a snap.

Which model is right for you - should you go with the Milwaukee 11amp or the 13amp model. 5 stars -

It's well worth the price. MUCH easier to take care of your tools that way.

I couldn't be more pleased with the purchase. I don't use the saw often, but when I do, I'm always amazed at how powerful it is and how solid it feels.

I bought this tool from Amazon several months ago after doing considerable research on this type of saw. As with all my other tools, I got the case that goes with it.

It has very little vibration, and the blades are VERY easy to change. I also like how the cord comes off for easy storage.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this saw to anyone. I've used cheaper recip saws, and they don't come close to the Milwaukee.

Tooless blade changes / cuts better than other 20 AMP saws / substitute chain saw.It deserves every star. Yeah, it is that good, in case you forgot your chainsaw use your Sawzall instead.Tooless setup makes blades the easiest to change out, the weight balance is 50/50 so it doesn't strain one arm more than the other when cutting.Milwaukee blades can flex extremely, I've had to curve the blade while slicing that would normally snap any other recip saw blade. The variable speed trigger is smooooooooooth, with the fine tooth blade you can use this thing for fine craft work if you just don't like your Dremel tool.Milwaukee gives you a decent set of blades to start with and other companies make compatible blades including Black & Decker's rough wood cutter to tree cutting. Our saw made quick work of a collapsed exterior house wall and a tree stump, just 10 AMPS but it cuts like a DeWalt 20 AMP.It is worth the money.

It's supposed to be locked in place by a lever on the case housing, but even with that wide open the damn thing won't budge. I can't fault the cutting action of this saw - it goes through 2x4s like butter and even sheet metal is no problem (though the noise is like standing next to a jet airplane). This is a big deal when you want shallow cuts because you need to adjust the shoe to minimize blade flex and vibration. 5 out of 5 for that. I only give it 4 stars because after only a month of weekend use, the shoe jammed in the case and won't come out. If milwaukee game me a way to disassemble the locking mechanism to free up the shoe I wouldn't worry about it but as you might expect its all sealed up. Grrr.

The twist lock blade holder allows blade changes in about 5 seconds-wow. The tool feels solid in my hands and has power to spare. I had to remove bathroom floorboards that were built up in plywood layers to almost 1 1/2 inches with tile on top of that, and the tool never ever showed signs of strain or effort. My only suggestion would be that the foot extend further out to limit cutting depth more. Otherwise this tool is tough.
